After the massive success of her latest release, Tiger Zinda Hai, Katrina Kaif will next be seen in Aanand L Rai's much-awaited flick, Zero. The title and teaser of the movie were unveiled a couple of days back, which drew out a favourable response from the audience.
Spilling some more beans on the movie, Katrina recently revealed that initially Zero was called Katrina Meri Jaan and had a totally different set of actors in it, but now the film will be a satirical take on an actress.
“Initially, I was supposed to play myself in Zero. The film was titled Katrina Meri Jaan. There was a different cast on board and Shah Rukh sir wasn’t part of it. Now, it’s a satirical take on an actress” said the actress.
The actress, who is reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan after 2012's Jab Tak Hai Jaan, says that the drive and energy of the superstar are admirable. “Shah Rukh sir is one of the best actors in the industry. His drive, energy and passion are commendable. It’s great to be around him on a set,” she said.
Zero is slated to release on 21st December.
Besides Zero, Katrina Kaif also has in her hand Yash Raj Films' Thugs Of Hindostan opposite Aamir Khan. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the mega-budget film also features Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh in principal roles.
