Within days of its announcement, Sanjay Dutt's Blockbuster in trouble

Showbiz is an extremely volatile market, full of risk and uncertainty. Filmmakers announce their projects with much fanfare, but it's not always necessary that every project announced sees the light of the day. While some run into a bottleneck at the production stage, others face trouble even before mounting the shooting floor. Something similar seems to have happened with superstar Sanjay Dutt's forthcoming film Blockbuster.

To be helmed by Ajay Arora and Lovel Arora, Blockbuster was announced earlier this week. Producer Sandeep Singh, who co-produced Dutt's comeback film Bhoomi, was quite happy to get Sanjay onboard once again for his next comic-caper. However, the latest we hear that the project is on the verge of getting shelved as the financier backing it has walked out of the musical comedy.

While announcing the project, a tweet of Singh and Dutt in a picture together was shared and circulated on all social media platforms. Now, the picture has been removed by the makers. It's being said that co-producer Anand Pandit is not very convinced with the project and hence he has opted out of it.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt is currently shooting for his next project, Torbaaz. He will shortly be seen in Tigmanshu Dhulia's Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3.
