Versatile actor Pankaj Tripathi teams up with Hrithik Roshan after 7 years

Pankaj Tripathi, one of the finest character actors that we have today in Bollywood, is set to join hands with superstar Hrithik Roshan. The actor plays a significant part in filmmaker Vikas Bahl’s upcoming film Super 30 which stars Junior Roshan in the role of renowned mathematician, Anand Kumar.

The film will mark the second collaboration between Pankaj Tripathi and Hrithik Roshan. The duo was last seen together 7 years ago in Dharma Productions, Agneepath, which was one of the highest grossing films of 2011.

While Tripathi was seen in a minor role in Agneepath, Super 30 features his as the lead antagonist opposite Hrithik’s character. Some reports suggest that the actor will be seen in a very scary role. He will undergo a complete makeover to get into the skin of his character.

Talking about his role in the film, Tripathi says, “My character in Super 30 is negative with a very quirky sense of humour to him. The character has a lot of spontaneity and it was a lot of fun playing him due to that very spontaneity.”

Sharing his experience working with Hrithik again, he adds, “Working with Hrithik is always a great experience because he is a brilliant actor and an equally superb human being. And owing to the fact that I know Hrithik and we have worked together in the past, there’s a comfort level that we share. So, it’s always an enjoyable experience working with him.”

Produced by Phantom Films in association with Reliance Entertainment and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Super 30 releases on 25th January, 2019.
