The teaser of Mission Mangal is intriguing and leaves us wanting for more

Mission Mangal is one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi and Nithya Menon in the lead roles. A few days ago, the first poster of the film was released and now, the makers have dropped the teaser of the film.

Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share the teaser. He tweeted, “Ek Desh. Ek Sapna. Ek Ithihaas. The true story of India’s #SpaceMission to Mars is here. #MissionMangalTeaser out now! https://bit.ly/2NWPBHR @taapsee @sonakshisinha @vidya_balan @TheSharmanJoshi @MenenNithya @IamKirtiKulhari @Jaganshakti @foxstarhindi  #HopeProductions @isro.”

The teaser is of just 45 seconds, but it impresses us a lot. It is intriguing and leaves us wanting for more. Even in those 45 seconds each and every actor has been given a perfect scope. Also, the VFX is not looking shoddy and it is quite good. Not to forget, the teaser ends with the tune of Vande Mataram giving us goosebumps.

Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal is about the scientists behind the Mars Orbiter Mission also known as Mangalyaan. The movie will mainly focus on the women behind the successful mission.

Mission Mangal is slated to release on 15th August 2019. There were reports that the makers would change the release date to 9th August 2019 to avoid the clash with Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor’s Saaho. However, the reports turned out to be false.

Well, now on 15th August 2019, we have three films hitting the screens – Mission Mangal, Saaho and Batla House. The teasers of all the three films are out and have impressed us a lot and now we wait for the trailer of these movies. It will surely be difficult for moviegoers to decide which one they would like to watch first.

Last year on 15th August, it was Akshay Kumar vs John Abraham. Akshay’s Gold and John’s Satyameva Jayate had clashed at the box office and both the films had done fantastic business.

These titles are travelling further than they ever have, including into the UK’s busy OTT space.

It’s about scale, quality, and the strange comfort of old stories in a digital world that changes too fast. And in a UK market dealing with subscription fatigue, anything fresh, strong, and rooted in clear storytelling gets noticed.
