The Sky Is Pink trailer: This Shonali Bose directorial looks like a beautiful journey

Priyanka Chopra fans are eagerly waiting for the movie The Sky Is Pink which is directed by Shonali Bose. The movie marks the actress’ comeback in Bollywood after a gap of three years. Recently, the film was premiered at Toronto International Film Festival, and now, the makers of the film have released the trailer of the film.

Priyanka took to Twitter to share the trailer with her fans. She tweeted, “Presenting the trailer for #TheSkyIsPink- a film about love, made with so much of it! It's a very proud milestone moment for me, because it’s my first as an actor & co-producer. Hope it gives you all the feels & inspires you to celebrate life! https://bit.ly/TheSkyIsPinkTrailer.”


The trailer is beautiful and showcases the journey of a couple and how they cope up with their daughter illness. Priyanka is simply fantastic in the trailer. It feels so good to see our Desi girl in a Bollywood film’s trailer. The actress surely made a wise decision to make a comeback with a film that makes her shine as an actor. Farhan Akhtar is good in the trailer and PeeCee and Farhan are looking nice together. While Priyanka and Farhan impress us in the trailer, the actor who actually steals the show is Zaira Wasim. She is superb in the trailer and looks like it will be an award-winning performance from her.

The Sky Is Pink is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary who suffered from pulmonary fibrosis. Zaira will be seen as Aisha in the film and Priyanka and Farhan will play the characters of her parents, Aditi Chaudhary and Niren Chaudhary. The movie also stars Rohit Saraf who plays Zaira’s brother in the film, and the actor leaves a mark in the trailer.

Total sales at Britain's third-largest supermarket fell 3.8 per cent to £5.1 bn in the three months ending September compared with the same period last year, reversing 0.2 per cent growth from the previous quarter. Comparable store sales dropped 2.8 per cent.

Chair Allan Leighton, who returned last year to revive the business for a second time, told the guardian that the fall in sales and market share was "totally self-inflicted." The supermarket struggled with technology issues during a lengthy effort to separate IT systems from former owner Walmart.
