Tamil remake of Queen, starring Kajal Aggarwal, starts rolling!

Kajal Aggarwal, who has been roped in to play Kangana Ranaut's role in the Tamil remake of Bollywood film Queen, has started shooting for the film. Titled Paris Paris, the movie is being directed by Ramesh Aravind.

The Kannada version, starring Parul Yadav in the lead role, is also being shot simultaneously at the same location as director Ramesh Aravind is helming both the versions of the movie.

Talking about helming the remakes of a National Award winning film, Aravind said, "It's an honour to be a part of this project. I'm directing the Kannada as well as Tamil versions. We are delighted to collaborate with Kajal whom I consider the perfect combination of beauty, talent and enthusiasm."

Queen, which released in 2014, catapulted Kangana Ranaut to the apogee of stardom. The actress even walked away with her second Best Actress National Film Award for her riveting performance in the coming-of-the-age movie.

We wish the Tamil remake of Queen does the same kind of magic for Kajal Aggarwal.

The BBC has backed the European Broadcasting Union’s (EBU) call to keep Israel in Eurovision 2026, even as a growing boycott from Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands and Slovenia reshapes the run-up to next year’s event. Their exit has deepened a dispute that has simmered since the war in Gaza began, centring on the bitter debate over whether the contest can stay separate from politics.
