Tamannaah Bhatia all set for a digital debut

After making a mark in the South film industry and Bollywood, actress Tamannaah Bhatia is now all set to make her digital debut. She will be seen in a web series titled The November Story which will be streamed on Hotstar. The web series is directed by debutante Ram Subramanian and produced by Ananda Vikatan Group.

The series is about a daughter trying to salvage the reputation of her criminal father. While Tamannaah will play the role of the daughter, actor GM Kumar will be seen playing the role of her father.

Talking about it, the actress told a news agency, "The OTT platform is also the new playground for accomplished actors like myself looking to break grounds with more challenging roles outside the two-hour cinematic time frame. These are exciting and experimental times in the entertainment industry.”

"I love to get under the skin of characters I essay, and hence the longer web series format is the perfect medium to showcase my skills as it is almost like doing five films at one go. There is lots of detailing and one can explore the character in-depth... I'm open to exploring more of these opportunities going forward," Tamannaah added.

Talking about her movies, Tamannaah was last seen on the big screen in the Tamil film Action. The film, unfortunately, failed to make a mark at the box office. Her next release will be Hindi movie Bole Chudiyan opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. She also has Telugu film That Is Mahalakshmi in her kitty which is a remake of 2014 release Queen.

Makerfield proved to be the making of a new prime minister. This extraordinary by-election produced the pivotal moment of this parliament – while illuminating the challenges facing the competing political tribes now.

Andy Burnham ran as Labour’s candidate to change the Labour government – and its leadership, too. It was an unusually positive personal campaign – focused on his back-story, track record and commitment to public service, rather than attacks on his political rivals. His campaign messages - including “northern soul” – were rooted in the north-west of England, yet this often resembled an American candidate’s campaign. Burnham had somehow seemed to conjure up a midterm primary election to qualify to contest the party leadership, having nominated his home town to host it.
