Sushant and Bhumi begin shooting for their next movie

2017 was not a great year for Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput as his much-anticipated film Raabta, also featuring Kriti Sanon in the lead role, tanked at the ticket window without a trace.

But the MS Dhoni: The Untold Story actor is starting things afresh in 2018 with his new untitled film. The movie also stars Toilet: Ek Prem Katha fame actress Bhumi Pednekar. Both stars started shooting for the movie today.

Elated Sushant took it to his Instagram account to share the news, accompanying it with a picture of the on-set location in Chambal.

"Really excited !! Shoot for one of my favourites, #AbhishekChaubey's Film starts today in Chambal. #RonnieScrewvala #BajpayeeManoj #bhumipednekar#RanvirShorey #AshutoshRana #MaheshBalraj" (Sic).

The film is being helmed by Abhishek Chaubey, who has previously directed films like Dedh Ishqiya and Udta Punjab. Besides Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar, the movie also features Manoj Bajpayee and Ranvir Shorey.

The trailer for the Veer Pahariya-starrer dropped on Monday, but instead of simply debating whether the remake can live up to the original, fans found themselves asking another question: where did Premalu go?
