Southern superstar Ram Charan wants THIS birthday gift from fans

Ram Charan, one of the most popular and influential actors working in Telugu cinema, turns 35th today on 27th March, 2020. Though the superstar is not celebrating his birthday amid Coronavirus lockdown in India, he requested for an unusual gift from his fans.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Ram requested all his fans to stay at home as his birthday gift. “I am amazed by all the heartfelt wishes pouring in since midnight! Love you all. With all this, there is one gift that I would like from you all. Please, please stay at home till the lockdown ends! That is the best gift you all can give me!” he wrote.


The actor debuted on Twitter on 26th March and donated ₹ 70 lakh to the Central and State Governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to deal with the Coronavirus pandemic. “At this hour of crisis, inspired by Pawan Kalyan garu, I want to do my bit by contributing to aid the laudable efforts of our governments,” he had tweeted, adding that as a responsible citizen, he would encourage everyone to abide by the guidelines to combat COVID-19 and flatten the curve.

On the work front, Ram Charan is currently busy with acclaimed filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli’s next directorial offering RRR. Also starring Jr. NTR in the lead role and Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in important cameos, the fictional historical drama features Ram in the role of a freedom fighter named Alluri Seetharamaraju. RRR is slated to hit the marquee on 8th January, 2021.

The actor is also bankrolling a high-profile film called Acharya under his production house Konidela Production Company. The movie stars his actor father Chiranjeevi in the lead role, while actress Kajal Aggarwal will be seen as his leading lady.
