Shraddha Kapoor confirmed to be Prabhas' leading lady in 'Saaho'!

Recently, there have been ample of speculations revolving around the female lead of megastar Prabhas' upcoming multilingual film, titled Saaho. From Katrina Kaif to Anushka Shetty and Pooja Hegde, several top names from Hindi and South film industry were tossed around, but the makers never confirmed any name.

But now, it seems, the makers of the big ticket film have finally zeroed in on the leading lady of their film. And it's none other than Bollywood diva, Shraddha Kapoor who has been tapped to play the female lead opposite Prabhas.


Confirming the same, the producer of the film revealed to a leading Indian tabloid, “Shraddha is the perfect choice for the role. We are excited to have her on board with us. Saaho is Prabhas’ first film in Hindi and so it is very special for all of us. It is an ambitious project and will have some really high-octane action scenes.”

Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho is being simultaneously shot in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor, who was last seen in Half Girlfriend, is now gearing up for the release of Haseena Parkar.

The studio is launching two newcomers in Bollywood after what’s being called its largest-ever talent hunt, which spanned more than 500 auditions from across India. The aim, insiders say, is to find raw, authentic performers, not familiar surnames.
