Shah Rukh Khan: I have surreptitiously signed so many films that even I am not aware of

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen on the big screen in 2018 release Zero. The film, which was directed by Aanand L Rai, also starred Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. However, the movie was a flop at the box office. After Zero, Shah Rukh Khan has not yet announced which will be his next movie, but there have been several reports about the actor’s next project.

It is said that he will be starring in a film which will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani. A few days ago, after Inshallah was shelved, there were reports that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has roped in SRK for a movie titled Izhaar. And now, from the past couple of days, there are reports of the actor starring in Ali Abbas Zafar’s next which will be an action flick.

Well, to put a full stop on all these rumours, Shah Rukh Khan tweeted, “It’s always nice to know that in my absence & behind my back , I have surreptitiously signed so many films that even I am not aware of!! Boys & girls I do a film when I say I am doing it....otherwise it’s just post truth.”

Looks like SRK has not yet decided which will be his next movie. A couple of days ago, even Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter to give a clarification. The filmmaker had tweeted, “For everyone speculating .... I am in final stages of finalising my script , exciting times ahead ....”

During the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, SRK had opened up about taking a break after Zero. The actor had stated, "I just finished the last film I made and to put it lightly, it was a disaster. I said to myself that let me enjoy a little bit of un-success as I had success for so long. So I have taken some time off for the next four or five months. As a matter of fact, I’m on these breaks... Coming here (Melbourne) and meeting people, realising and discovering new stories, doing intellectual speaking.”

Well, we are sure fans of Shah Rukh Khan are eagerly waiting to know which will be his next film.

Urooj Ashfaq’s 'How to Be a Baddie': Funny, familiar, and not quite fearless

Indian stand-up comedian Urooj Ashfaq returns with How to Be a Baddie, a follow-up to her acclaimed 2023 debut show that made her the first Indian comic to win the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe. After previously performing extensively across the UK and further Fringe runs, she returns with a month long UK tour throughout November. The rising star follows up her biggest London engagement at Soho Theatre, until November 15, with shows across the UK, which promise edge, irreverence, and rebellion.

The show is built around a clever conceit: a critic once accused her of not being ‘edgy enough’, and this is her tongue-in-cheek attempt to prove them wrong. She dives headfirst into taboo territory — sex, erotica, beating children, religion, even haemorrhoids — tackling each with her trademark candour and charm. There’s a particularly funny section about dark romance fan fiction inspired by One Direction, complete with hilarious impressions of Harry Styles and Zayn Malik, that captures her mix of sharp observation and silly joy.
