Sara Ali Khan to romance Kartik Aryan in Love Aaj Kal 2

Sara Ali Khan is the latest toast of the town! Her debut film Kedarnath (2018), which hit screens on 7th December, is still running in many theatres in the domestic market while her second outing Simmba, starring Ranveer Singh as the male lead, is set to enter cinemas this Friday.

The newcomer is only one film old in Bollywood, but she has impressed many big shots in showbiz with her debut performance, so much so that directors have started queuing up in front of her doors with scripts in their hands.

Recently, there were rumours that Sara has been signed for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Baaghi 3 opposite Tiger Shroff. However, when the actress was asked for a confirmation, she denied having been approached by the makers.

The latest buzz has it that she has now given a nod to star in ace filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s next directorial venture. If reports are to be believed, Ali is set to direct a sequel to his 2008 hit film Love Aaj Kal, which starred Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Reportedly, Love Aaj Kal 2 will hit the shooting floor very soon. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) fame Kartik Aaryan has been roped in to play the male lead in the sequel. Kartik and Sara will be teaming up for the first time ever on celluloid.

An official announcement is awaited.
