Sanjay, Sonakshi, Parineeti and others join the cast of Ajay Devgn’s Bhuj

Yesterday, T-Series Films’ Bhushan Kumar announced that he has signed superstar Ajay Devgn to play the lead role in his forthcoming film Bhuj: The Pride of India. Today, the makers revealed the rest of the star cast, which has further piqued the interest of the audience in the project.

Besides Ajay Devgn, Bhuj: The Pride of India will also feature a host of talented actors like Sanjay Dutt, Parineeti Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati and Ammy Virk in important roles. The film is based on the Indo-Pak war of 1971.


While Ajay Devgn will be playing Indian Air Force Wing Commander Vijay Karnik in Bhuj: The Pride of India, Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the role of Ranchordas Svabhai Ravari ‘Pagi’, who helped the Indian Army during the war.

Sonakshi Sinha will be seen in the role of a social worker and a farmer, Sunderben Jetha Madharparya. Rana Daggubati has joined the cast to essay the role of Madras regiment Lt Colonel. Parineeti Chopra will be seen as an Indian spy in Lahore, Heena Rehman. Virk will don the role of a fighter pilot.

Written and directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, Bhuj: The Pride of India is expected to roll soon.
