Sanjay Dutt is back on the sets to wrap up Shamshera

Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera was slated to release in July this year, but due to the pandemic the shooting of the film was stalled and the release has been pushed. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles.

We all know that Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with cancer and he is currently going through treatment in Mumbai. A few weeks ago, he had tweeted that he is taking a break from work due to some health issues. However, the actor is back on the sets to complete the shooting of Shamshera.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, “The film has been stuck following the six-month coronavirus-induced lockdown and Sanjay did not want to delay it further. So, even though he is currently undergoing treatment, he reported at a city studio on Monday, taking all the necessary precautions and following the SOPs while on the set.”

“Sanjay looked happy to be back in action. Energetic and in high spirits, he reeled off one shot after another. It was evident from his attitude that he is going to face this crisis head-on, like the fighter that he is,” added the source.

Well, in a statement shared by his wife Maanayata Dutt, she had stated that currently, Sanjay will undergo the treatment in Mumbai, and later they will decide if he has to go for a treatment in overseas.

Apart from Shamshera, Sanjay has films like Torbaaz (releasing on Netflix), K.G.F. Chapter 2, Prithviraj, and Bhuj: The Pride Of India (releasing on Disney+ Hotstar) in his kitty.

Asda has reported a sharp sales decline while criticising the government for "killing confidence" among consumers, though its chair admitted "self-inflicted" technology problems had set back turnaround plans by six months.

Total sales at Britain's third-largest supermarket fell 3.8 per cent to £5.1 bn in the three months ending September compared with the same period last year, reversing 0.2 per cent growth from the previous quarter. Comparable store sales dropped 2.8 per cent.

Chair Allan Leighton, who returned last year to revive the business for a second time, told the guardian that the fall in sales and market share was "totally self-inflicted." The supermarket struggled with technology issues during a lengthy effort to separate IT systems from former owner Walmart.
