Sana Fatima Shaikh joins hands with Saif Ali Khan for Tantrik

Last seen in Yash Raj Films’ Thugs Of Hindostan (2018) opposite superstar Aamir Khan, actress Sana Fatima Shaikh is currently looking forward to working with ace filmmaker Anurag Basu on his next directorial venture which still remains untitled.

The latest we hear about her is that after signing Anurag Basu’s film on the dotted line, the actress has added yet another exciting project to her kitty. Buzz has it that Sana may come onboard to play the female lead in filmmaker Pawan Kriplani’s next film Tantrik.


The horror film, which is expected to roll soon, stars Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. The movie was first offered to Abhishek Bachchan. However, the Guru (2007) actor walked out of the project which soon landed in Saif’s lap.

If Sana Fatima Shaikh agrees to star opposite Saif Ali Khan in Tantrik, it will be her first film with the National Film Award-winning actor.

Meanwhile, Saif is presently shooting for the upcoming war drama Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior, which features superstar Ajay Devgn in the lead role. He will next be seen in his home production Jawani Janeman.

The theatre was packed for the Third Shanghai–London Screen Industry Forum. Between panels and workshops, filmmakers, producers and executives discussed ideas and business cards and it felt more than just a summit. British-Asian filmmakers were meeting and greeting the Chinese industry in an attempt to explore genuine possibilities of working in China’s film market.
