Salman Khan to slim down for Remo D'Souza's Race 3

Over the years, we have seen many Bollywood stars undergoing extreme physical transformation to get into the skin of their characters.

While Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan put on pounds of weight to play an ageing wrestler in Dangal, Randeep Hooda stopped eating to play the character of Sarbjit Singh convincingly in the biographical drama Sarbjit.

Salman Khan is the latest actor in Bollywood, who is going to shed many kilos to pull off his character in the upcoming film Race 3.

The superstar, who was last seen in Tubelight, is known for his drool-worthy beefed-up physique. In fact, he is credited as the actor who popularized the concept of gymming in India. How can we forget the song 'O O Jane Jana' from the film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya which had the audience spellbound!

In his upcoming suspense thriller movie, Race 3, the superstar will be seen donning a lean avatar, so that he could deliver the stylized action scenes with ease. In order to meet the requirements of his role, the actor will be seen shedding nearly 8 kilograms to get a lean look. He will be following a special diet and fitness regime to get the desired results.

Directed by Remo D'souza and produced by SKF Films and Tips, Race 3 is scheduled to hit screens on Eid 2018.
