Saif Ali Khan's Kaalakaandi to release digitally on Netflix!

Saif Ali Khan, who was last seen in Chef, has a number of projects in his hand and a few of them are lined up for release in next couple of months.

The actor has already had two releases this year - Rangoon and Chef - which failed to bring the audience to theatres. The first look of his much-awaited film Kaalakaandi was released a month back or so which got the audience excited. The film was all set to enter cinemas in September but due to some issues with the Censor Board the film got stuck and could not see the light of the day.

But if latest reports are to be believed, the makers of the much-delayed film have now decided to release it digitally instead of going the traditional way of theatrical release.

Speaking about the same, a source revealed to a popular magazine that Kaalakaandi will release on Netflix as the content of the film might not get a green signal from the Censor Board.

We are sure that with the digital market registering an exponential growth all over the world, this decision of releasing the film digitally might fall in favour of the cast and makers of the movie.

Directed by Akshat Verma, Kaalakaandi also stars Kunaal Roy Kapur and Akshay Oberoi.
