The White Tiger, the winner of the 40th Man Booker Prize in 2008, is the second Netflix adaptation of a novel by Aravind Adiga. The streaming media giant had previously adapted his yet another popular novel Selection Day as well.

Talking about being a part of The White Tiger, Priyanka Chopra had earlier said, “I am so excited to work with Ramin Bahrani and Netflix to bring Aravind Adiga’s poignant story to cinematic life. I look forward to filming this in India this fall, and also working along with Rajkummar for the first time and the wonderful cast Ramin is putting together.”

On the film front, Rajkummar Rao is looking forward to the release of his next movie Made In China, co-starring Mouni Roy and Boman Irani.
