Pakistani police arrest fourth suspect in Briton’s murder

PAKISTANI police have arrested a fourth suspect in the murder of a British man who ran Zorba Pizza and Balti takeaway with his brother in Rossendale.

Jahangir Hussain, 29, from Blackburn, Lancashire, was shot dead on January 9 near his mother's home in the city of Jhelum.


According to police sources, the suspect is in custody after his arrest.

A youth, a man and a woman have also been arrested for their suspected role in the murder and have been bailed until Saturday (25) when all are due to appear at Jhelum District Court.

Hussain's mother was also injured in the attack but she survived.

He used to travel to Pakistan frequently to visit his family and friends.

THE director of National Intelligence in the US, Tulsi Gabbard, has sent criminal referrals to the Justice Department seeking investigations into the whistleblower whose complaint led to president Donald Trump's first impeachment in 2019, as well as the former intelligence community watchdog who handled the case.

The referrals, confirmed by a spokesperson for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and first reported by Fox News, target the still-anonymous whistleblower who raised concerns about Trump's July 2019 phone call with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.
