Manoj Bajpayee’s Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai receives thunderous response

ZEE5 Global, the world's largest streaming platform for South Asian content, released their most anticipated and talked about film Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai on May 23. Starring Padma Shri and National Award recipient Manoj Bajpayee, the film received rave reviews from critics and fans alike. From calling it Manoj Bajpayee’s finest performance to regarding it as the best film of the year so far to being labelled a masterpiece deserving a national award, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai garnered positive responses from across the globe.

The legal drama has now broken viewership records on its launch day. The Apoorv Singh Karki directorial recorded the highest viewership from a ZEE5 Original within 24 hours of its release.


Produced by Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Limited, Zee Studios, and Suparn S Varma, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai is inspired by true events. It is a courtroom drama directed by Apoorv Singh Karki which stars Manoj Bajpayee as lawyer P.C Solanki.

It is the story of an ordinary man - a high court lawyer who single-handedly fought an extraordinary case against the country’s biggest godman and successfully ended up prosecuting him for the rape of a minor under the POCSO act. The power-packed courtroom drama, touted to be one of the biggest legal courtroom dramas, is now streaming exclusively on ZEE5 Global.
