Made In Heaven 2 on the cards

If you loved Zoya Akhtar’s digital series Made In Heaven on Amazon Prime Video, we have got an exciting piece of news to share with you. Buzz has it that the makers will be returning with the second season of the series very soon.

The series, which premiered on the leading OTT platform on 8th March, became the talk of the town in no time. Almost after a month of its premiere, it is being touted as one of the most successful series to have come out from the stable of Amazon Prime Video.


According to a report published on an entertainment portal, the makers are set to begin work on the second season of the series soon, albeit with a new set of actors. A source close to the development reveals, “Now, that's natural. You can't have the exact cast. But as things stand today, we are making Made In Heaven 2.”

Made In Heaven starred Arjun Mathur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh, Shashank Arora, and Shivani Raghuvanshi in prominent roles. It will be interesting to see who all are going to be retained in the second season of the series.

Talking about Amazon Prime Video’s other India originals, it will soon launch the second seasons of Inside Edge and Breathe. The streamer has also teamed up with superstar Akshay Kumar for an action thriller web-show titled The End.

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the actress said she's encountered more substantial, content-driven roles in South Indian cinema compared to her Bollywood journey, where she often felt restricted to glamorous appearances.

"I definitely feel that South mein woh zyada milta hai (You find that more) content-driven films," Elli said, comparing her experiences.
