Kunal Khemu in Dharma Productions' period-drama Kalank

After superstar Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, actor Kunal Khemu is the latest actor to join the ensemble cast of filmmaker Karan Johar's upcoming multi-starrer Kalank, which is being helmed by 2 States fame director, Abhishek Verman.

“Kunal Kemmu is also a part of Kalank. The team has not announced it yet, but he will have an important role in the film, a source reveals. “Abhishek feels Kunal is extremely promising and he has already shot a few scenes that the filmmaker has loved,” adds the source.

Khemu was last seen in director Rohit Shetty's blockbuster comic-caper, Golmaal Again. If the news of him joining the cast of Kalank is true, it is indeed a big deal for the actor who has mostly been seen in comic roles of late. Kalank is being touted as one of the biggest films of 2019 and his association with it is going to benefit his career further in Bollywood.

Jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Kalank is slated for its release on 19th April 2019.
