Kiara Advani may star opposite Akshay Kumar in Kanchana remake

After receiving rave reviews for her bold performance in the Netflix original Lust Stories (2018), actress Kiara Advani has become one of the most sought-after actresses in Bollywood and down south.

She is presently shooting for two high-profile films at the same time, and if latest reports are to be believed, the actress is in talks for yet another exciting project and that too opposite one of the leading superstars Akshay Kumar.

According to reports, Kiara Advani may romance Akshay Kumar in the Hindi remake of Tamil horror comedy Kanchana (2011). The film is expected to begin production in April and will be directed by Raghava Lawrence who had written, directed as well as played the lead role in the original.

However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.

Meanwhile, Kiara is busy shooting for her upcoming films Kabir Singh and Good News. While Kabir Singh sees her opposite superstar Shahid Kapoor, Good News has Diljit Dosanjh as her co-star.

Both films are set to release in 2019.
