Kartik Aaryan and Disha Patani roped in for a romcom

Kartik Aaryan and Disha Patani have been signed on to headline filmmaker Anees Bazmee’s next directorial venture. The renowned filmmaker is presently busy with his forthcoming film Pagalpanti with John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda and Ileana D’Cruz in London. He will start working on his next right after wrapping up his on-going project somewhere around the middle of the year.

Talking about the genre, the untitled movie will be an out-and-out romcom which will have the audience in stitches. Bhushan Kumar, who is producing the film under T-Series Films, confirms the same, saying, “This one is a classic Anees Bazmee-style rib-tickler romcom which will have everyone in splits.”

In the past 20 years, it will be the first time when Anees Bazmee helms a romantic film. His last romantic movie was the Kajol and Ajay Devgn starrer Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha, which released in the year 1998 and was a huge box-office success.

“My journey with family-centric comedies has been a blast and now I’m looking forward to this one,” says Bazmee.

When asked what led him to rope in Disha Patani as the female lead in his film, Bhushan says, “Disha’s work I have seen in Bharat which we are producing, she is a good performer. It’s always interesting to present a fresh pairing on screen”.

Robbie Williams voices concern over eyesight decline

Robbie Williams fears his weight-loss injections are damaging his vision, saying his eyesight has grown increasingly blurry in recent months. The 51-year-old, who has been using Mounjaro, believes the jab may be behind the sudden decline and wants others to be aware of possible side effects.

He told The Sun he first noticed something was wrong while watching an American football game, when the players appeared “just shapes on the field”. An optician later prescribed new glasses, but Williams said he hadn’t initially linked the problem to the injections.
