Karan Johar might cast brothers Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in his next

After delivering an outstanding performance in Dhadak (2018) and receiving widespread appreciation, Ishaan Khatter has proved that he has a long way to go in Bollywood. Looks like Karan Johar, who produced the romantic film, thinks the same and hence he wants to work with the young talent again.

We hear that the Dharma Productions head is so impressed with Khatter’s impassioned performance in the Shashank Khaitan directorial that he has offered him another movie. The icing on the cake is that Ishaan’s brother Shahid Kapoor has also been approached for the same project.

“Shahid has come very close to being part of a Dharma film on several occasions. But somehow, it has never worked out. Maybe Ishaan’s closeness to Karan will get his brother into a Dharma Productions’ film,” a source said.

An announcement is awaited.

Jaffri said the opportunity came through her co-actor Hassan Khan, and the strength of the writing made it an immediate draw, particularly as a two-hander that places sustained focus on performance.
