John Abraham starrer Satyamev Jayate locks 15th August for release

The makers of an upcoming action-thriller film, which is being toplined by John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee, have announced the title and release date of their venture. To be directed by Milap Zaveri, the film has been titled Satyameva Jayate and will arrive in theatres on 15th August. The movie will lock horns with Reema Kagti's much-awaited film Gold, starring Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.

The film is being jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani. Emmay Entertainment, the production house run by Nikkhil Advani, announced the title and release date of the film on their official Twitter account.

Satyamev Jayate will launch actress Neha Sharma's younger sister Aisha Sharma in Bollywood. She plays John Abraham's love interest in the movie.

Saif Ali Khan has spoken about stepping away from wedding performances, saying the mix of wealth, access and social circles makes him uncomfortable. The actor said in a recent interview that the shift began years ago, after a relative questioned why he was dancing at a private event.

Saif Ali Khan remembered being backstage in Mumbai when his father’s sister walked up and said she could not believe he was dancing at a wedding. The remark stung, and it stayed with him. He said that some actors see themselves as entertainers and are happy to turn up, take the fee and move on. However, he has stopped feeling that way.
