John Abraham to remake a Spanish Thriller in Hindi?

After making commercially and critically successful films like Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe and Force 2, John Abraham has made one thing very clear that he has got an eye for good content, at least when it comes to producing movies.

The actor has just wrapped up his next production, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, and the news is coming in that he is all set to produce another content-driven film. But this time, instead of working on an original idea, the actor-turned-producer has opted for a Spanish film which he plans to remake for the Indian audience.

According to reports, John Abraham recently watched the Spanish thriller film The Invisible Guest and liked it so much that he decided to remake it in Hindi. The actor has, reportedly, already bought the remake rights of the movie. Apart from producing, John will act in it, too.

Sources reveal that Taapsee Pannu, who won a lot of awards and accolades for her compelling performance in the movie Pink, has been roped in to play the female lead, but there will be no romantic angle between her and John's character in the film.

The yet-to-be-titled film will be co-produced by JA Entertainment and Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor's KriArj Entertainment. Newcomer Lakshya will be making his directorial debut with the film. If all things fall into place, the film will go to sets by the end of this year.

Spider-Noir swaps superheroes for smoke-filled mystery

Marvel has spent years expanding its superhero universe, but Spider-Noir takes a noticeably different route. Instead of another glossy modern adventure, the new Prime Video series leans heavily into old-school detective storytelling, pulling viewers into a world of shadows, cigarette smoke and classic noir style.

Led by Nicolas Cage, the series trades skyscraper heroics for trench coats and private investigations. While Cage previously voiced a Spider-Man variant in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, this version is not Peter Parker. Here, he plays Ben Reilly, a former masked hero who once protected New York as The Spider.
