Is Ranbir Kapoor reconsidering Luv Ranjan’s next?

The humongous success of Sanju (2018) at the box-office has catapulted Ranbir Kapoor to the peak of superstardom. The actor has a number of high-profile projects in his hands, which are expected to cement his position further in show business. Luv Ranjan’s untitled film with Ajay Devgn is one of them.

When the project was announced before the release of Sanju, Ranbir was quite excited about teaming up with Luv Ranjan and Ajay Devgn. But if the latest reports are to be believed, the actor is reconsidering some aspects of the film before he starts shooting for it.


Reportedly, Ranbir Kapoor’s team believes that since the actor has now hit the big league after the success of Sanju, there should be some changes in the script and the positioning of the Luv Ranjan directorial. The team also wants Ranjan to rope in a bigger heroine that what he has in mind.

“It is normal for a star’s management team to become more alert and responsible after every hit or flop and to make changes in their plans accordingly. Ranbir’s team wants a bigger heroine in the film because there is a 300 crore rupee hero in it, as well as Ajay, who has delivered a 200 crore rupee film with the fourth instalment of the Golmaal (2017) series,” a trade source reveals.

Kapoor is currently shooting for Dharma Productions’ Ayan Mukerji-directed Brahmastra. He has also been finalized for Yash Raj Films’ Shamshera.

Sydney Sweeney says she is committed to choosing films that will "impact and hopefully save people's lives" as she promotes her latest psychological thriller The Housemaid.

The 28-year-old American actor, who has appeared in two films this year addressing domestic violence, The Housemaid and boxing biopic Christy told the BBC she takes "a lot of care" when portraying such sensitive roles.
