Irrfan Khan set to shoot Hindi Medium 2?

After undergoing treatment for a neuroendocrine tumour in his brain, celebrated actor Irrfan Khan has reportedly returned to India.

While undergoing treatment in London, the award-winning actor had reportedly signed Hindi Medium 2, a sequel to his 2017 film Hindi Medium, co-starring Pakistani actress Saba Qamar.


Since the actor is hale and healthy now, the makers of Hindi Medium 2 are planning to take the film to the shooting floor soon. If fresh reports are to be believed, Irrfan Khan will start shooting for the much-awaited sequel this month.

Hindi Medium 2 is going on floors on February 22. Costume Designers have already started looking for Irrfan’s outfits. The leading lady is yet to be decided,” a source close to the development revealed.

An official announcement is awaited.

Preity Zinta has moved a step closer to taking legal action against Google, Meta and several other entities after the Bombay High Court granted her permission to file a civil suit over the alleged misuse of her identity online.

The actor's proposed case centres on claims that AI-generated deepfakes, altered images, chatbot personas and other forms of digital content have been created and circulated without her consent, infringing on her rights and damaging her reputation.
