Irrfan Khan returns to Mumbai post a successful surgery

A couple of days ago, a video of Irrfan Khan from the Mumbai airport made it to the social media where he was seen hiding his face and was sitting on a wheelchair. Speculations started that maybe is not keeping well. However, the actor’s spokesperson has cleared that Irrfan has returned to Mumbai post a successful surgery.

The actor’s spokesperson said, "Irrfan had successful surgery after wrapping Angrezi Medium shoot in London. He was missing home and has come to Mumbai for a few days and to recover. We request the media to not speculate and thanking everyone again for the continued support.”

Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with neuro-endocrine tumour last year. He was in London for a few months for the treatment. He came back to India a few months ago and kickstarted the shooting of the film Angrezi Medium which is a sequel to 2017 release Hindi Medium. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan. After a schedule in India, the shooting of the film took place in London.

In April this year, while he was on a road to recovery, Irrfan had shared a heartfelt post on Twitter thanking his fans for the supporting. The actor had written, “Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart.”

Directed by Homi Adajania, Angrezi Medium is slated to hit the screens on 24th April 2020. We are sure fans of the actor are excited to watch him on the big screen again.
