Gul Panag signed to play a pivotal part in Student Of The Year 2

After finalizing Tiger Shroff and Tum Bin 2 actor Aditya Seal, the makers of the upcoming Hindi film Student Of The Year 2 have now roped in former beauty queen and actress Gul Panag to play an important role.

As the name suggests itself, Student Of The Year 2 is a sequel to Karan Johar's blockbuster film Student Of The Year, which launched the careers of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in Bollywood.

According to a source, Panag will play a pivotal role in the narrative. “In most probability, she will be seen as a professor, similar to what Ronit Roy essayed in the first part,” a well-placed source reveals.

Produced by Dharma Productions, Student Of The Year 2 will be helmed by Puneet Malhotra. The makers are currently busy finalizing the female lead for the flick. Some reports suggest that SOTY 2 is a two-heroine project and the makers have locked actor Chunky Panday's daughter Ananya Panday to play one of the leads.
