A BJP leader was shot dead by an unidentified assailant in Jharkhand. The brutal incident of murder took place in at Lacharagarh of Simdega district, police said today. Manoj Nageshia was attacked when he was dining with his friend in his house last night. While the victim was being taken to a nearby hospital, he succumbed. He had joined the BJP in 2014 and had made an unsuccessful bid in the 2014 state assembly poll from Kolebira. The police were yet to arrest anyone for Nagesia’s murder.
