First glimpse of Brahmastra to be out in August?

Brahmastra is surely one of the most awaited films of the year. The shooting of the film kickstarted in 2018 and it was slated to release in 2019. However, the release date was pushed to Summer 2020, and then the makers once again delayed the release.

The movie is now slated to release on 4th December 2020, and it was uncertain if it will release this year or not as the shooting of the film is still left and due to the lockdown it was delayed. However, now according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, only a few days shoot is left and the post-production work on the film is currently going on.


A source told the tabloid that the makers are planning to unveil the first glimpse of the film in August this year. The source said, “It’s a scaled-up film and they are planning a prolonged campaign with a series of videos leading up to the release, like it happens in the West. The first of the lot is expected to be out by August, once the visuals are polished.”

Brahmastra is a trilogy and it is said that the shooting of the sequel will start immediately after the release of the first instalment. The source said, “The franchise is a fight between good and evil to find the most powerful weapon in the universe, the Brahmastra, that’s divided in three parts and hidden in the land of the Gods.”

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra stars Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia, and Gurfateh Pirzada. There will be a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan in the film.

UK HEALTH authorities are gearing up to receive about 24 people from a virus-hit cruise ship, who will be isolated in a hospital once used for Covid patients, NHS officials said.

Spain has begun the evacuation process of passengers from the hantavirus-hit Dutch ship, the MV Hondius, anchored near Tenerife on Sunday (10), with health officials boarding the boat to conduct a final check and begin disembarking passengers, Spain's health ministry said.
