VERSATILE actress Rubina Dilaik has won over fans with her naturalistic performances on the small screen and inspired many with her positive outlook on life.

A number of fan clubs are dedicated to the shining star including one started by Bhawana from New Delhi, who was later joined by Kanista from Sri Lanka and Suchi from California. Eastern Eye caught up with them to find out more...


What made you set up the fan club? I have been a Rubina fan since her debut show and when she joined Twitter. So I decided to start a fan club here on Twitter.

Tell us about your fan club?

Our fan club is solely dedicated to Rubina Dilaik and her admirers. We try our best to not only update fans about latest news and pictures, but also try to connect them with Rubi through various contests held on our fan club.

What has been your memorable moment?

When Rubina followed our fan club; it has to be the most memorable moment.

What is the best thing that you like about Rubina Dilaik?

Apart from being a talented actress, Rubina is someone who inspires all her fans to be strong, brave and follow their dreams. Her positivity is something we find very attractive about her.

What is your favourite work Rubina has done?

I would say Chhoti Bahu as it made me her fan, and also Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki as this show made her fans even more proud.

Tell us an interesting fact about Rubina?

When most of the actresses look up to various fashion designers for award ceremonies and different occasions, Rubina designs all of her outfits herself.

What is your definition of a true fan?

A true fan is someone who unconditionally loves their favourite and respects their choices. Also, someone who stands with their favourite through every up and down.

National Trust brings Pokémon into the outdoors

The National Trust is turning some of its best-known gardens and estates into Pokémon adventure zones this summer with the launch of new family-friendly trails across England and Wales.

Beginning on 23 May during the May half-term break, the Pokémon-themed activities will run at 14 National Trust properties, including Speke Hall in Merseyside and Quarry Bank Mill in Cheshire.
