Faisal Khan makes comeback

Faisal Khan has had quite an eventful journey in showbiz. He began his career with the dance reality show Dance India Dance on ZEE TV. He impressed everyone with his energetic dance moves and went on to win the show.

After walking home with the winning trophy of Dance India Dance, Faisal made his acting debut with Sony Entertainment Television’s historical drama Maharana Pratap, which was received well by the audience. He also won yet another celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.


After staying away from television for some time, Faisal is now making a comeback to fiction genre once again. The actor has been signed on by producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary for his ongoing show, Chandragupta Maurya.

Faisal is replacing Kartikey Malviya on the show after it takes a 5-year leap. He will be seen in the role of grown-up Chandragupta Maurya. Besides him, several new actors are also expected to join the cast of the show post leap.

The theatre was packed for the Third Shanghai–London Screen Industry Forum. Between panels and workshops, filmmakers, producers and executives discussed ideas and business cards and it felt more than just a summit. British-Asian filmmakers were meeting and greeting the Chinese industry in an attempt to explore genuine possibilities of working in China’s film market.
