Delhi Airport's romantic V-Day banter goes viral

ROMANCE was in the air at the Delhi International Airport on Valentine’s Day, with its PDA for airlines going sky-high through some punny and cheesy tweets.

The airport’s official Twitter account started off with a message for IndiGo airlines: "Hey @IndiGo6E, promise me you'll never run away from my runway!"

IndiGo replied: "Oh darling, your love brings me back on-time, every time!"

The banter did not stop at that.

"My love, @IndiGo6e, we have so many future planes together! #DELlovesYou #ValentinesDay2020," wrote Delhi airport.

Pat came the reply: "@delhiairport Whenever you say that 'kuch kuch hota hai' #DELlovesYou #ValentinesDay2020 #LetsIndiGo."

"I’m just plane crazy about you. #DELlovesYou #ValentinesDay2020," wrote Delhi airport.

The airport got romantic with Air India, Vistara and SpiceJet, too, much to the amusement of twitteratti.

Check some of the tweets out:

That was 'plane' love at its best, and tweeple were left 'awww'-struck!

Polls suggest Labour could lose several London boroughs, increasing pressure on Sadiq Khan

Highlights

  • Labour currently controls 21 of 32 London boroughs.
  • Greens favoured in inner London areas like Hackney.
  • Reform UK could surpass Conservatives in outer boroughs.
Labour could lose control of several London boroughs in the upcoming local elections on May 7, according to recent polling data.
This would significantly impact mayor Sadiq Khan's ability to implement policies across the capital.

Labour currently controls 21 of London's 32 town halls. However, a YouGov poll suggests the party will only have the largest vote share in 15 boroughs after the elections.

Analysis from pollsters More in Common shows the Green Party and Reform UK are set to make major gains.
