Deepika Padukone claims Katrina Kaif stole her idea

We all know that because of the coronavirus outbreak people have been told to stay at home and a lot of countries have announced lockdown including India. Well, during this quarantine, our Bollywood celebs have become quite busy with the household chores as their domestic helpers are also not working.

A few days ago, Katrina Kaif had posted a video on Instagram in which she was cleaning utensils and she actually tried to give a tutorial on how to clean utensils. She had captioned the video as, “? +?=?? really makes u appreciate all the help we have at home #socialdistancing #staysafe #helpoutathome.”


Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone has been posting pictures and videos of how she is being productive during this lockdown. And recently, she reposted Kartina’s video of washing utensils and accused her of stealing her idea. Deepika posted, “I regret to inform you that Season 1:Episode 5 stands cancelled because @katrinakaif stole my idea!Hmmff!!!???‍♀️??? #PlagiarismInTheTimeOfCovid19.”

To this Katrina replied, “Hahaha ......Got the rights from Rupali my trusted aide (and house staff )Haha ?stay safe .... love u guys.”

Well, we surely love this cute banter between the two actresses on social media.

Talking about their movies, Katrina was gearing up for the release of Sooryavanshi, but the film has been postponed due to coronavirus outbreak and the new release date is yet to be announced. Meanwhile, Deepika was going to kickstart the shooting of Shakun Batra’s next this month, but now the schedule has been delayed.

Anita Rani opens a new chapter centred on women who broke the rules

Broadcaster Anita Rani is moving beyond traditional interviews with the launch of Sisters of Defiance, a podcast focused on women who challenged expectations and carved out their own paths.

The series opens with Dame Meera Syal, one of the most influential British Asian writers and performers, in a conversation that blends deeply personal stories with wider discussions around identity, culture and representation. The podcast forms part of Rani’s newly launched production company and is filmed from her home studio, with episodes also available in video format.
