Confirmed: Ekta Kapoor to announce Naagin 4 cast in September

Indian television has telecast a number of supernatural drama shows in the past few years, but none of them could hold a candle to Ekta Kapoor’s immensely popular series Naagin in terms of TRP and popularity. Naagin has seen three successful seasons so far and prides on being one of the most successful supernatural series to have ever aired on Indian television. After the humongous success of Naagin 3 on TRP charts, Balaji Telefilms is now planning to bring the next season of Naagin by the year-end.

It looks like the makers have already begun preparations for Naagin 4, and an official announcement regarding the new female lead on the show will be made in September. Yes, producer Ekta Kapoor has just confirmed that she will be revealing the name of the next Naagin in the month of September. Talking to her Instagram account, Ekta Kapoor wrote: “Happy Naag Panchami, guys! Sept we will announce d next Naagin for Naagin4! Some surprises on what I’ll see and where you’ll see!!!!”

The popular Colors’ series concluded its season 3 recently after having a successful run. It starred Pearl V Puri, Surbhi Chandna and Anita Hassanandani in lead roles. As soon as Naagin 3 premiered its final episode, Colors started its teaser campaign for Naagin 4.

Rumours are rife that Hina Khan, Krystle D’Souza and Vivek Dahiya may be part of the upcoming series. However, we all have to wait till September when Ekta Kapoor finally announces the lead cast.

  • Tech firms will be forced to block such content or face heavy Ofcom fines.
  • Experts say the ban responds to medical evidence and years of campaigning.

The plan is to make possessing or distributing pornographic material that shows sexual strangulation, often called ‘choking’, illegal. This is a specific amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill. Ministers are acting on the back of a stark, independent review. That report found this kind of violence is not just available online, but it is rampant. It has quietly, steadily, become normalised.
