Boney Kapoor confirms No Entry 2 yet again

A lot has been said and written about a sequel to the 2005 comic-caper No Entry over the years. Starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, Bipasha Basu and Celina Jaitley in important roles, No Entry was the highest-grossing movie of the year 2005. Talks about its sequel have been around for years now, but the project kept hitting a roadblock for one reason of the other.

However, more than a decade later, producer Boney Kapoor seems confident about making the project. Talking to an entertainment portal, the producer says that he has cracked the script with director Anees Bazmee for No Entry 2 and that the sequel will be at least 10 times more hilarious than the first part.


“Yes, No Entry 2 will be made. I don’t know when exactly I will start. But, finally, I have cracked the script with Anees Bazmee. This movie is very special to me because I remember when No Entry happened, I had released it on my strength as the team was apprehensive. And the rest as they say is history. No Entry 2 is at least 10 times more hilarious than the first part. It will leave you in splits,” says the filmmaker.

Meanwhile, producer Boney Kapoor is presently busy with his next production venture Maidaan. Filmmaker Amit Sharma, who last helmed Badhaai Ho (2018), is directing the film which features superstar Ajay Devgn in the lead role, opposite South Indian actress Keerthy Suresh. Devgn is playing the role of Syed Abdul Rahim, under whose leadership the Indian football team won the Asian games in 1951 and 1962. The football coach is also regarded as the architect of modern Indian football. Maidaan is slated to release on 27th November, 2020.

Rourke distances himself from the online fundraiser

Mickey Rourke has denied any involvement in a crowdfunding appeal that raised close to £80,000 and has asked supporters to reclaim their donations. The Oscar-nominated actor addressed the issue in a video shared on Instagram, saying he was frustrated and confused by the situation.

The GoFundMe page, titled Help Mickey Rourke Stay in His Home, appeared over the weekend and claimed the actor was facing an urgent threat of eviction.
