Arijit Singh: I have overcome my nervousness of performing live on stage

Arijit Singh is one of the most admired singers in the country. His soulful voice has won a lot of adulation. The singer is currently occupied with his singing tour. When a leading Indian tabloid asked him to share his experience of his singing tour, Arijit said, "It was a larger-than-life experience; one of the best I've had in a long time. I wanted to reach out to my fans across the country and this was a great way to get close to them. I am glad I got a chance to perform for them in their own cities."

When asked about what has been his take away from this tour, he said, "I have overcome my nervousness of performing live on stage. The tour marked an amazing start to the year for me as well. I am taking away a lot of happy memories."

He further mentioned that he loves to sing live on stage and inside the studio. "Being inside a studio and performing live are two completely different experiences, and I enjoy both. Performing live is like inviting people over for a house party, where I can sing my heart out while people around join it. When I am on stage, I make sure I interact with the audience. Studio recordings, on the other hand, are technical," said Arijit.

Talking about whether nervousness creeps inside him when performing live on stage, he said, "Yes, I do. But when I see thousands of fans cheering for me and appreciating my music, it's so overwhelming that I forget about the nervousness, and start enjoying the whole experience."

AI podcasts flood the internet threatening independent creators and reshaping a $39 billion audio industry

Highlights:

  • AI can make thousands of podcast episodes every week with very few people.
  • Making an AI podcast episode costs almost nothing and can make money fast.
  • Small podcasters cannot get noticed. It is hard for them to earn.
  • Advertisements go to AI shows. Human shows get ignored.
  • Listeners do not mind AI. Some like it.

A company can now publish thousands of podcasts a week with almost no people. That fact alone should wake up anyone who makes money from talking into a mic.

The company now turns out roughly 3,000 episodes a week with a team of eight. Each episode costs about £0.75 (₹88.64) to make. With as few as 20 listens, an episode can cover its cost. That single line explains why the rest of this story is happening.
