Amit Sadh wraps up the shooting of Shakuntala Devi – Human Computer

Vidya Balan starrer Shakuntala Devi – Human Computer is one of the most awaited films of 2020. The movie is a biopic on mathematician and writer Shakuntala Devi, and it is directed by Anu Menon.

A few days ago, it was announced that Amit Sadh will be seen playing the role of Shakuntala Devi’s son-in-law in the film. And now, the actor has wrapped up the shooting of the film. In a series of tweets, he wrote, In company of great women... and it's a wrap for me #ShakuntalaDevi (Not my birthday) Thank you everyone - @vidya_balan @sanyamalhotra07 @sonypicsprodns @Abundantia_Ent @ShikhaaSharma03 @mutant_India. & a big thank you to Anu @anumenon1805 for being a wonderful and patient director and helping me bring #Ajay to life. and a big Thank you to my fans #mypeople who root for me, pray for me and are everything to me... and this post is incomplete till I sign off by thanking my personal team... While talking about being a part of the film, Amit had earlier stated, “When I read the script I got to know so much more about the life of the incredible Shakuntala Devi. I’m very excited to join a cast featuring a powerhouse talent like Vidya Balan and the amazing Sanya Malhotra. I look forward to bring Ajay’s character alive on the big screen.”

Apart from Vidya Balan and Amit Sadh, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra and Jisshu Sengupta. The movie is slated to hit the screens in Summer 2020.

Fast food chain Leon is planning to close restaurants and cut jobs less than two months after being bought back from Asda by co-founder John Vincent, as the shift to home working continues to impact demand for takeaways.

The chain announced on Wednesday it had appointed administrators from Quantuma to lead a restructuring programme, though it did not specify how many of its 54 restaurants would close or how many staff would be affected.
