In 2019, it was announced that Allu Arjun will be seen in a film titled Icon which will be produced by Dil Raju and directed by Sriram Venu. However, the movie never went on the floors and there was no update on the film.

It was speculated that Icon has been shelved. However, recently, while talking to the media at a press conference, producer Dil Raju cleared that the film has not been shelved and the shooting will kickstart soon.

He stated, "Before Vakeel Saab, we had finalised the script of Icon. Venu and I are hungry for good scripts, especially those that are a perfect balance of good content and a massy entertainer. Icon is a good script that will be loved by the audience. Icon kept getting postponed several times, but it will definitely be kickstarted soon."

Meanwhile, Dil Raju and Sriram Venu are currently enjoying the success of Pawan Kalyan starrer Vakeel Saab which has received a great response at the box office.

Talking about Allu Arjun’s movies, the actor will next be seen in Pushpa which is slated to release on 13th August 2021. It is Telugu film, but it will be dubbed and released in various languages like Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada.

A few days ago, on Allu Arjun’s birthday, the makers of Pushpa had unveiled a teaser of the film, and it had received a good response.
