Alia keen to sign Purple Pebble Pictures' next

It was not long ago that we had reported that Priyanka Chopra had approached Alia Bhatt for a film to be made under her home banner, Purple Pebble Pictures. Reportedly, the film had been rejected by many leading actresses of Bollywood before it went to Alia.

Buzz has it that the Shaandaar actress has really liked the script, but she is finding it difficult to allot dates to Priyanka Chopra for the film which revolves around children and stray animals.

"The basic problem with Alia is that she doesn’t want to commit to too many films because Brahmastra is going to take a while in the making. Hence, she may have to juggle dates. Priyanka’s offer is also pretty open. She has offered Alia the option to choose her script and the director as well."

Alia will next be seen in Meghana Gulzar's upcoming film, Raazi. The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and now it is in the post-production stage. After the film releases on 11th May 2018, she will devote all her time to Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, which is going to take a lot of time in the making, leaving no time for Alia to sign other projects.

Well, it remains to be seen whether or not Alia gives her consent to PC's project.
