Ajay Devgn thanks Yogi Adityanath for making Tanhaji tax-free in UP

Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, and Kajol starrer Tanjahi: The Unsung Warrior has taken the box office by storm. The film has collected Rs 75.68 crore in four days and it is expected to do well at the box office in the coming days.

Recently, the Uttar Pradesh government declared the film tax-free in the state. The official Twitter handle of the government tweeted, “मुख्यमंत्री श्री @myogiadityanath जी ने सिंहगढ़ की लड़ाई में वीरगति को प्राप्त तानाजी मालसुरे के जीवन पर आधारित एवं श्री @ajaydevgn जी द्वारा निर्मित हिंदी फीचर फिल्म ‘तानाजी - द अनसंग वाॅरियर’ को  प्रदेश में करमुक्त घोषित किया है।“


So, Ajay Devgn took to Twitter to thank the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath. The actor tweeted, “Thank you Shri Yogi Adityanathji for making #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior Tax-Free in Uttar Pradesh. I would also be delighted Sir if you watched our film ? @myogiadityanath #TanhajiUnitesIndia.”

Kajol also tweeted, “Thank you for declaring #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior tax-free in Uttar Pradesh  ?? @myogiadityanath @UPGovt #TanhajiUnitesIndia.”

Well, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has received mostly positive reviews and the film is being liked by the moviegoers. People are loving Saif Ali Khan’s performance in the film. The actor plays the role Udaybhan Singh Rathore and he has performed brilliantly in the movie.

Directed by Om Raut, the film also stars Sharad Kelkar and Neha Sharma. Along with Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak has also hit the screens. But unfortunately, the film has received a lukewarm response at the box office.
