2018 release Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety clearly changed the career graph of Kartik Aaryan. He became a star overnight and filmmakers started looking at him as a bankable actor. This year, Kartik starred in Luka Chuppi which also became a super hit at the box office, and now he is being signed for some big movies.

It was a few days ago when it was announced that Kartik will be seen in Dostana 2 along with Janhvi Kapoor. And now, according to a report in a tabloid, the actor has also been roped in to star in Bhool Bhulaiyaa sequel. A source told the tabloid, “While the makers have locked the idea, the script is still to be finalised. But the idea was shared with Kartik who liked it and has agreed to take the franchise forward with the story set in a metropolis.”

Bhool Bhulaiyaa was directed by Priyadarshan and was a remake of Tamil film Chandramukhi which starred Rajinikanth in the lead role. However, it is yet to be finalised who will be directing the sequel. The source said, “The director will be locked in a few days, following which they will decide on the leading lady and the rest of the cast. Bhushan (Kumar) always wanted to continue with Bhool Bhulaiyaa and is invested in the film. He is looking to start filming by the year-end.”

Well, we are quite excited to know which actress will be roped in to star opposite Kartik Aaryan. Bhool Bhulaiyaa starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the lead roles. Vidya’s performance in the film is said to be one of the best performances of her career.

Meanwhile, Kartik recently wrapped up the shooting of Imtiaz Ali’s next in which he will be seen opposite Sara Ali Khan. The actor also has Pati Patni Aur Woh and Anees Bazmee’s comedy film in his kitty.
