Last seen in espionage drama Romeo Akbar Walter (2019), John Abraham has a number of exciting projects on his platter right now. Today, he added one more interesting film to his lineup. Yes, you heard that right! Abraham has been confirmed to headline an upcoming action film titled Attack.
The actor will be seen in the role of a lone ranger in the movie. Apart from playing the male lead, John Abraham will also co-produce the project under his production house, JA Entertainment. The fictional action-thriller is said to be inspired from some true events set against a hostage crisis that brought a nation to its knees.

Lakshya Raj Anand has written the film and is gearing up to make his directorial debut with it. Besides John Abraham, Dheeraj Wadhawan and Ajay Kapoor have joined hands as co-producers of the film.
Talking about Attack, John Abraham said in a statement, “At JA Entertainment, we believe in content first. It is our endeavour to push the envelope and produce films that entertain and have something significant to show to the increasingly discerning audience. Attack is a taut, interesting thriller with a strong storyline and a genre that I love! I am happy that Dheeraj and Ajay are onboard this very interesting project.”

Producer Ajay Kapoor of Kyta Productions added, “Attack is an intelligent, engaging story, which needs to be told for audiences of the younger generation. Working with John Abraham and his production banner has been a pleasure as we think alike on films. We look forward to this exciting collaboration.”
Attack is set to go on floors in December 2019. The makers are yet to lock any official date for the theatrical release of the film. However, it is expected to enter theatres in the second half of 2020. More details are awaited.
