Raaz

The first one on the list has to be Raaz. Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea starrer is clearly one of the scariest films made in Bollywood. The way the spirit said ‘Sanjana’ in Bipasha’s ears, it gave us goosebumps and we all were scared that no one should call us like that.

1920

In 2008, Vikram Bhatt made a period horror film titled 1920. As the title suggests, the film was based in the year 1920 and was about a couple who shifts into a huge mansion and how their life changes as the girl get possessed. The film had many scenes that made us uncomfortable and Adah Sharma’s performance was appreciated a lot.

Shaapit

Shaapit is clearly Vikram Bhatt’s most underrated work. Starring Aditya Narayan, the film actually made us sit on the edge of our seat making us think about what will happen next.

Haunted 3D

Watching a horror film in 3D is something no one would have thought of. But Vikram Bhatt came up with Haunted 3D in 2011 and the movie went on to become a hit at the box office. It was clear that the Indian audiences were open to watch horror movies in 3D.

Raaz 3D

After the success of Haunted 3D, in 2012, Vikram Bhatt directed Raaz 3D. The third instalment in the Raaz franchise starred Bipasha Basu, Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta in the lead roles. The movie explored the dark side of black magic and surely gave us sleepless nights.
