ZEE5 greenlights new series titled Pawan Pooja

OTT platform ZEE5, which began its operations last year, has become one of the most popular streamers in the country in such a short span of time. The platform has a bunch of new web-shows which will be premiering soon.

The latest we hear that it has just greenlighted yet another series. Titled Pawan Pooja, the series will be produced by well-known producer Siddharth Malhotra under his banner Alchemy. It is expected to hit the shooting floor soon.


According to reports, actress Aachal Chandel has been roped in to play a pivotal part in the series. Actors like Sharman Joshi, Gul Panag, Mahesh Manjrekar, Dipti Naval, Kunal Madhiwala, Mrinal Dutt and Geetika Vidya are also a part of the star cast.

A source close to the project reveals to an entertainment portal that the actress mostly has scenes with Mahesh Manjrekar and Dipti Naval. “Aachal will play the character of Sindhu and will mostly have scenes with Mahesh Manjrekar and Dipti Naval,” says the source.

The actress was also a part of Ekta Kapoor’s popular show Kumkum Bhagya.
