Will Sara Ali Khan make her South debut with a Mani Ratnam film?

Sara Ali Khan, the daughter of well-known actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, is the latest star kid on the block. Way before signing her debut film Kedarnath with Sushant Singh Rajput, she has been the favourite of paparazzi in India. She has yet not started shooting for her debut Hindi film to be helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, but the girl has already become a household name thanks to her lineage. Now, everyone is eagerly waiting for the release of her first film.

But it seems that not just Hindi filmmakers, Sara has caught the fancy of South Indian filmmakers also. If latest reports are to be believed, Sara is being considered to star opposite Ram Charan in one of his upcoming projects, to be directed by distinguished filmmaker Mani Ratnam.

According to reports, Charan is all set to join forces with Mani Ratnam for a film. They wanted to work with each other since long but now it seems the time has finally arrived for them to collaborate on a film and both have decided to get in touch with Sara Ali Khan to play the female lead. Interestingly, the film will be a bilingual shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi.

If the news is really true, then we will have to admit that Sara is really going places even before the release of her debut film.

  • 12 Monkeys and The Sixth Sense also rank among his strongest-reviewed films
  • The list spans sci-fi thrillers, supernatural mysteries, neo-noir and action films

Bruce Willis will always be associated with John McClane, but Die Hard is hardly the only place where the actor made his mark on the thriller genre.

Across the 1990s and 2000s, Willis moved between time-travel mysteries, supernatural dramas, neo-noirs and action thrillers, often using the same understated intensity that made him such a recognisable screen presence. Rotten Tomatoes scores show that some of his most highly regarded work came when he stepped away from the role of the conventional action hero.
