Vicky Kaushal injured on the sets of his horror flick

Rising star Vicky Kaushal, who was most recently seen in Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), has met with an accident on the sets of his upcoming film. The actor was shooting an action sequence for the untitled horror film in Gujarat, where a door fell on him fracturing his cheekbone.

According to reports, Kaushal was shooting inside a ship when the accident happened. He was first taken to a local hospital before the crew flew him to Mumbai. The actor has got 13 stitches. “He was rushed to a local hospital by the crew and flown to Mumbai on Friday morning,” says a source.


The untitled horror film is being produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Bhanu Pratap Singh is helming the project, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar in an important role. Vicky will resume the shoot once he feels better.

After wrapping up the film, the talented actor will start working on Karan Johar’s next directorial venture, Takht. The multi-starrer also features Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Bhumi Pednekar in the cast.
